The 42nd Annual Spring Seminar and Convention for Court Reporters will be conducted by the Mississippi Judicial College at the Jackson Marriott, 200 East Amite Street, Jackson, Mississippi, April 24–26, 2013. The program content was developed by the Continuing Education Committee of the Mississippi Court Reporters working in conjunction with the Judicial College. The Mississippi Judicial College welcomes the continued camaraderie with the Mississippi Court Reporters Association (MCRA).
PRE-REGISTRATION: The seminar pre-registration form included herewith should be completed and returned to the Judicial College as soon as possible. It is very important that you pre-register for this seminar as guarantees must be made
to the hotel, especially for the meeting space, receptions, breaks, and other functions. Your pre-registration for this program will also assure you of receiving all registration materials including notebooks, hand-outs, and other items.
REGISTRATION: On-site registration for the spring/summer seminar will commence at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning April 24, 2013, on the Mezzanine of the Jackson Marriott. The seminar registration desk will remain open for the
duration of the seminar and a representative of the Mississippi Judicial College will be in attendance at all times. NOTE: The first class will begin at 12:45 on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT: Request has been made to the Council of the Academy of Professional Reporters (CAPR) for approval of this seminar for 1.2 CEUs. The application will be considered under the “Continuing Education and Professional Development Guidelines.” By attending the entire program you will be awarded 1.2 continuing education units. If, however, your state is a CSR state and you prefer CE hours rather than CEU’s we will award hour credits for you.
There are 12 hours in the program which corresponds to 24 CE credit hours.

Mississippi Official Reporters will have their rooms placed on the master bill of the Mississippi Judicial College for the nights of April 24 and 25, 2013 for the $85.00 rate, but you must guarantee your room with a credit card.
